شیر ایک طاقت وار جانور ہے۔ یہ دیکھنے میں بہت خوفناک نظر آتا ہے۔ اسک کی گردن پر لمبے لمبے بال ہوتے ہے۔ یہ افایقہ اور ایشیا کے جنگلوں میں پایا جاتا ہے۔ یہ غاروں میں رہتا ہے اسے جنگل کا بادشاہ کہتے ہیں۔ یہ انسان کا بڑا دشمن ہے۔ لکین شکاری اس کے بچوں کو چرا لیتے ہیں۔ وہ ین کو سدھاتے اور سرکس میں ان سے کام لیتے ہیں۔           

Passage 17

The lion is a powerful animal.it I very terrible to look at.it has long hair on its mane. It is found in the forests of Africa and Asia. It lives in dens. It is called the king of jungle. It is the worst enemy of man but hunters steal away its cubs. They tame them and make them work in circus.

ایک نوجوان باغ میں بیٹھا تھا۔ وہ کچھ فکر مند تھا۔ کچھ دیر کے بعد ایک بوڑھا آدمی باغ میں داخل ہوا۔اس نے نوجوان کو ایک خط دیا۔ نوجوان نے خط کھولا اور اسے پڑھا۔ وہ خط پڑھ کر بہت خوش ہوا۔ اس کے فکر مندی کے آثار غائب ہو گئے۔ اس نے بوڑھے آدمی کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔                                                                               

Passage 18

A young man was sitting in a garden. He was a bit worried. After a while, an old man entered the garden. He handed over a letter to the young man. The young man unfolded the letter and read it. He became very happy after reading it. The sings of his anxiety disappeared. He thanked the old man.

لاہور ایک پرانا اور تاریخی شہر ہے۔ یہ دریائے راوی کے کنارے پر واقع ہے۔ یہ صوبہ پنجاب کا دارالحکومت ہے۔ اس شہر میں بہت سی تاریخی عمارتیں ہیں۔ بادشا یہ مسجد دینا کی سب سے بڑی مسجدوں میں سے ایک ہے۔ شایہ مسجد کے پاس یہ علامہ اقبال کا مزار ہے۔ اقبال نے ہم کو پاکسان کا تصور دیا تھا۔ قرارداد پاکسان لاہور یہ میں منظور کی گئی تھی۔ مینار پاکستان اسی قرارداد کی یاد میں تعمیر کیا گیا۔ یہ اقبال پارک میں تعمیر کیا گیا۔                                                                      

Passage 19

Lahore is an ancient and historical city.it is situated on the bank of the river Ravi. It is the capital of the Punjab province. There are many historical buildings in this city. Badshahi Mosque is one of the biggest mosques in the world. The tomb of Allama Iqbal is beside the Shahi Mosque. Iqbal gave us the idea of Pakistan. The Pakistan Resolution was passed in Lahore. Minar-e-Pakistan was built in the commemoration of this resolution. It was built in Iqbal park.

الہ دین چین کے شہر پیجنگ میں رہتا تھا۔ اس کا والد       درزی کا کام کرتا تھا۔ وہ پہت محنتی شخص تھا۔ الہ دین ابھی چھوٹا یہ تھا کہ اس کے ولاد کا انتقال ہو گیا۔ الہ دین اور اس کی والدہ نے بہت افلاس کی زندگی گزاری۔ الہ دین بہت کاہل تھا۔ وہ تمام دن گلیوں میں کھیلتا اور کوئی کام نہیں کرتا تھا۔ البتہ وہ جسمانی طور پر مضبوط او طاقتور تھا۔                                                                                              

Passage 20

Alahdin lived in Beijing, a city in China. His father was a tailor. He was very hardworking man. Alahdin was quite young when his father passed away. Alahdin and his mother led a life of poverty. Alahdin was very sluggish. He used to play in streets the whole day and did nothing. However, he was strong and powerful physically.
