میرے گھر کے مامنے ایک باغ ہے۔ اس میں بہت سے پودے اور درخت ہیں۔ بہار کے موسم میں کئی رنگ کے پھول کھلتے ہیں۔ ان کی خوشبو  ارد گر د پھیل جاتی ہے۔ شام کو باغ آدمیوں، عورتوں ارو بچوں سے پھر جانا ہے۔ لوگ ادھر ادھر پھرتے ہیں۔ اورلطف اٹھاتے ہیں۔ بچے باغ میں دوڑتے ہیں۔ اب وہ یہاں ہیں اور دوسرے لمحے وہ باغ کے دوسرے کونے میں ہیں۔ ہر شام میں بھی باغ میں سیر کے لیے جاتا ہوں۔ بہت سے مالی باغ کی دیکھ بھل کرتے ہے۔                                                                                                                  

Passage 1

There is a garden in front of my house. There are many plants and trees in it. Flowers of various colours bloom in spring. Their fragrance spreads all around. The garden is filled with men, women and children in the evening. People stroll about and enjoy themselves. The children run in the garden. Now they are here and the next moment they are in other corner of the garden. I also go for a walk in the garden every evening. Many gardeners look after the garden.

زندگی کے نشیب و فراز میں ایسے لمحات بھی آتے ہیں جب انسان بالکل نا امید ہو جاتا ہے۔ اسے ہر طرف اندھیرا ہی اندھیر نظر آتا ہے۔ اور اس کی مقابے کی سکت ختم ہو جا تی ہے۔ یہ با ت انسان کی عظمت کے خلاف ہے۔ دنیا میں جتنی بھی ترقی ہوِئی ہے۔ وہ اس عزم و ہمت کا نتیجہ ہے۔ جو کے اللہ تعالی نے انسان کو عطا فرمائی ہے۔ انسان کو چاہیے کی کبھی ہمت نہ ہارے بلکی مادانہ وار نا کامیوں کا مقابلہ کرے۔ اللہ تعالی ایک دن ضرور کامیابی عطا کرے گا۔           

Passage 2

Such moments also occur in the ups and downs of man’s life when he becomes totally hopeless. He finds utter darkness everywhere and his power of competition comes to an end. This is against the dignity of man. The entire progress in the world is the outcome of the determination and perseverance which Allah has granted to man. Man should never lose hope, but he should face failures manfully. Allah almighty shall award him with success one day.

ایک دفعہ کا زکر ہےکہ ایک گیڈر ایک دریا کے کنارے رہتا تھا۔ دریا کے درسرے کنارے پر خربوزے کے بہت سے کھیت تھے۔ دریا گہرا ورچوڑا تھا۔ گیرڑجی بھر کر کھانا چاہتا تھا۔ ور دریا عبور نہیں کر سکتا تھا۔ ایک دن اس نے اپنے دوست اونٹ سے کہا، "اگر مجھے دریا کے دوسے کنارے لے چلو تہ میں بہت شکر گزار ہوں گا۔ "اونٹ رضا مند ہو گیا۔ گیرڑ اونٹ کی پیٹھ پر چھلانگ لگا کر چڑھ گیا۔ اونٹ دریا میں سے چلتا ہوا دوسرے کنارے پر پہنچ گیا۔ گیرڑ خرپوزوں کے کھیت میں گھس گیا اور مزے سے خربوے کھانے لگا۔                                                                                      

Passage 3

Once a jackal lived on the bank of a river. There were many melon fields on the other bank of the river. The river was deep and wide. The jackal wanted to eat to his fill. He could not cross the river. One day, he said to his friends, camel, “if you take me to the other bank of the river, I shall be thankful to you.” The camel agreed. The jackal jumped up on the back of the camel. The camel waded through the river and reached the other bank. The jacket entered the fields of melons and began to eat merrily.

ڈر ہے کہ چند سا بعد دینا کا تیل ختم ہو جا ئے گا۔ ہر ملک یہ کو شش کر ہیا ہے۔ کے تیل کے مزید ذ خیرے دریافت کرے۔ معلوم نہیں کے یہ کو شش کس حد تک کامیاب ہو گی۔ ضرورت اس بات کی ہے۔ کہ ہم اپنی تیل کی ضروریات کو کم کریں۔ صنعت وزاعت میں تیل کی کھپت کو کم نہیں کیا جا سکتا۔ البتہ نجی ضرورتوں میں اس کا استعمال کم کیا جا سکتا ہے۔ ہمیں چاہیے کے باہر سے کاروں کی جگہ بسیں درآمد کریں۔ تا کہ طالب علموں کے لیے بسوں کی سہولت کو بہتر بنایا جا سکے۔                  

Passage 4

There is a fear that the oil of the world will run out after a few years. Every country is trying to discover more reserves of oil. This is not known how far this effort will succeed. The need of the hour is that we should cut short our requirements of oil. The consumption of oil cannot be lessened in agriculture and industry. However, private needs can be decreased. We should import buses in place of cars so that the facility of buses for students may be improved.
