1. Affect (V) اثر کرنا  This incident did not affect his health.

Effect (N)اثر   It did not have any effect on him.

2. Advice (N)نصحیت کرنا He gave me a good piece of advice.

Advise (V) نصحیت My father advised me to work hard.

3. Alter (V) بدل دینا/ تبدیل کر دینا We cannot force her to alter her mind.

Altar (N)  قربان گاہ People brought the animal to the altar.

4. Altogether (Adv.)  مکمل طور پر It is altogether wrong to say that she came here yesterday.

All together (Adv.)اکٹھے  They went to watch the movie all together.

Besides (Adv.) کے علاوہ Besides writing. I have to learn it by heart.

10. Brake (N)  کار / سائیکل کی بریک The brakes of the cycle failed on the way.

Break (V)  ٹوٹ جانا Handle it carefully otherwise it may break.

11. Cool (Adv.) خوشگوار طور پر ٹھنڈا Cool breeze is blowing.

Cold (Adv.) نا خوشگوار طور پر ٹھنڈا It is cold outside.
